Scott Road Comp Shoe
- Footbed: ErgoLogic removable insole
- OUTSOLE: Nylon Fiberglass co-injected, Two Component PU / Stiffness Index 6
- UPPER: Synthetic Polyurethane, 3D Nylon Airmesh
- CLOSURE: Closure system with anatomic fit straps
The Scott Road Comp is designed for the keen road rider in mind who is after a shoe which delivers key performance features.
Featuring three carefully located anatomic velcro support straps enabling the shoe to comfortably conform to the shape of the foot.
Having a stiffness rating of 6 out of a maximum 10 this shoe is on the mid to upper range of stiffness which is beneficial in road cycling. A stiff sole enables the rider to transfer all of the power generated into the pedal stroke without any going to waste through either compression or flex of the shoe.
Having some flex in the shoe is of benefit when walking into a café for much needed refuelling!
ANATOMIC CENTERING STRAP
The Anatomic Centering Strap automatically aligns the top strap with the instep of the foot. A low profile adjustment for high tolow volume feet.
Wrap Fit upper incorporates a structural layer of synthetic leather which conforms to the foot like a second skin. The construction is comprised of two parts: the structural layer and the accu-form butted seams. This system provides a supportive structure that is comfortableand free of pressure points.
Our high-end road and mountain shoes all come with a new anatomically designed, adjustable insole. Foot zoning allows us to consider the anatomical shape of the foot and ergonomically pre-shape our insoles for a perfect fit to support the cyclist's foot. This provides a stable foundation for improved comfort and power transfer. The SCOTT modular footbed allows for adjustments to the rider’s individual needs and preferences. The footbed is designed to maximize performance and comfort:
METATARSAL PAD Reduces forefoot numbness and evenly distributes pressure
ARCH ADJUSTMENT Allows for correct foot alignment and adjusts for individual arch geometry and fit
HEEL CRADLE Increases heel fit and properly aligns the ankle joints during cycling
Just as no two people are alike neither are their feet. We strive to create shoes that are a supportive stable platform for maximum performance and all day comfort. A shoe that can adapt to a wide range of feet and offer a glove like fit.

The Scott story began in the Sun Valley, Idaho by top class ski racer and innovative thinker Ed Scott. He designed and developed the first tapered aluminium ski pole, rendering bamboo and steel poles defunct at the highest level of competition. The company then moved into different markets with motocross and cycling emerging as new targets for the business. Greg Lemond stunned the cycling world when he used the first ever production aero bar, which was made by Scott in his 1989 Tour de France win. Innovation and technology remain at the forefront of Scott’s design ethos in all their products. Moving forward to the present day Scott produce; bikes, components, shoes, helmets, clothing and much more, all with the same meticulous detail to performance as when Ed Scott developed his ski poles in 1958. As a result it is no surprise Scott bikes and riders have been at the forefront of international cycle sport.
Nino Schurter and Jenny Rissveds stormed to victory in the XC MTB discipline at the Rio Olympics. The pair who ride for the Scott Odlo MTB Racing Team were riding the latest evolution of the Scott Spark. In road racing the Scott Foil and Addict have become the bikes to watch whether climbing up mountains in the Alps or blasting along the cobbles in the Arenburg forest. Adam Yates and his Orica–BikeExchange team mates have been producing consistently top results using Scott products. The latest big signings for Scott are the Browlee brothers Jonny and Alister who need no introduction in the world of triathlon. The brothers who have and continue to dominate the discipline will be opening a new chapter with the brand utilising Scott’s attention to detail and no shortcuts approach to creating the best equipment on the planet.
